As you may already be aware, Microsoft are shortly withdrawing support for Windows XP and we wanted to let you know how that may affect your organisation. On April 8th 2014, Microsoft will no longer provide hot fixes, product updates and most critically, security patches for Windows XP.
Running Windows XP after the end of support date may expose your company to potential risks, such as:
- Security & Compliance Risks: Unsupported and unpatched environments are vulnerable to security risks.
- Lack of Independent Software Vendor & Hardware Manufacturers support: Many third party software providers will only be providing support for later versions of Windows.
That’s why we recommend that your business update its operating system.
Cloud2020 can help you through the process of migrating to a more modern and secure operating system to ensure your organisation remains protected. With this being a time-consuming activity, we want to make sure that your organisation has a seamless transition from Windows XP.
Not only can we can we provide charities with discounted Microsoft software, but we can also assist with installation, deployment and training. We have already helped many organisations transition to the later version of Windows and Office.
Windows Professional 8.1 Upgrade: £59
Microsoft Office Standard 2013: £59
Please note all pricing is subject to VAT at the current rate and is for single units. Microsoft always issue the latest version of the license and you have downgrade rights to run previous versions.
